Palinetta [Bayonetta Hype]

Yo,
Have you played the Bayonetta demo?
Even after the Famitsu scores we discussed previously, I still had kind of written off Bayonetta. I may just not have had the appetite for a single player action game, but I did play the demo, and, man, this shit is cool. You should check it out. Plus, you've got a 360; the PS3 version is relatively teh suck, appar.
Later.

Yeah its true, she did well with Bowser. She didn't play as Pikapussy once either. Obviously the computers had a little something to do with the outcome of the match but I don't want to discredit her achievment. I dont mind losing a match or two like that. I like to let the new comers share the spotlight with me. It allows me to reinvent myself. When you're like the Jay-Z of the Smash Bros. world you need the competition. You thrive off of it. I mean, "I'm the best Smasher alive". "I'm still countin kills from 88". So whenever you wanna come test the king......bring it!

VGL; KIL MIA

The VGL show was pretty good. They changed the program up only a little bit from last time. They did away with the music from Advent Rising and instead included the music to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross, which was cool. One of the highlights was, before the show they had a Guitar Hero contest. Then in the second half of the show, they brought the winner up on stage. They told him if he could score 200,000 points on "Sweet Emotion" on hard mode, he'd win a sweet AlienWare laptop. He insisted that they put it on expert mode, so they put his shit on expert. Tommy Tallarico goes, "Dude, are you sure? It's for the laptop" but the kid insisted. He then proceeded to get a 609 note streak---unlocking an XBL achievement in the process, which was hysterical---and went on to score 300k points (the previous high score for that song on the console was 257k), only missing 5 notes in the whole song. It was crazy. Also, there was a costume contest with a bunch of small kids dressed as Link, a Guile, a Naked Snake, and a chick dressed as the Scout from Team Fortress 2. Ultimately, a guy dressed as Pac-Man took the prize. There was also a Yuna and an Auron, but they weren't as impressive. I looked for Guile after the show because I wanted to get a picture, but I couldn't find him. It was a pretty full house, some seats under the roof were empty but the whole lawn was full of people.

Saturday night, Lego and I did 4 brawl matches. I used my usual Kirby everytime..He alternated between Olimar, Lucas, Bowser and Luigi.
I don't remember the actual wins, probably because I didn't win, but I did win in KILLS, which is all that matters.
16-14.
I rule.

Yeah, he has a key for the gate to get out of that area. It's all about keeping on the move.

Sorry I keep bombarding you with e-mails today. Anyway, I was looking at Kotaku's annual gift guide, nothing much good on it this year, but it mentioned Udon's The Art of Capcom, which I gave you last year (I think). Check it out, it looks like it has appreciated in value. I just thought that was funny.

Saturday Night

Went out to Piratz Tavern in Silver Spring with Josh and some of his friends (and Grace, I believe she texted you). Drank a cup of grog and six Jaegerbombs. Went back to Josh's house and drank three glasses of champagne. Then proceeded to score 1 million points in Rock Band 2 singing "Give It Away" on expert.
We went on to play Don't Fear the Reaper.
"OMG GUYS SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP COWBELL SOLO"
donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk
donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk

donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk donk
"WOOOOOOOO"
Just wanted to share.
(The group of us ran up like a $300 bar tab, though to be fair that included some meals. I'd be hanging my head this morning, if it weren't for the awesome RBII score.)
